DJ Group is lead by Patty Dicker. Her first venture into business was in 1995 when she opened a small gift/convenience store in her home town of Hopedale, Labrador.
Today, DJ Group, under Patty’s direction, is the lead coordinating body for a group of Inuit owned and operated businesses based in Makkovik, Hopedale and Nain.
Makkovik operations include Franks General Store. Hopedale operations include Franks General Store, the Amaguk Hotel, DJ’s Convenience, DJ Properties and
numerous logistical services. Nain operations include Franks General Store and the Atsanik Hotel.
